I owe a debt of gratitude to Nurse Jessica Nandino for designing these masks for her coworkers and sharing them with others. By making the masks below, I was able to figure out yardage needed to make these in volume, and make a few slight modifications in the pattern and process to better help me understand, and speed up the process by precutting many masks, and repeating the same steps for 6 masks at a time before moving on to the next step.
Your creativity will be unleashed as you make a valuable contribution to our frontline working so hard to save our lives. While we’re all in self isolation - and many of us without work, making these masks are a low cost and effective way to make time fly, and give you props by making a contribution to our communities.
